Brutus our small dog was specifically trained to lie at my feet to keep them warm while I work. He is like one big fuzzy slipper! I would have to disagree on the entire economy issue though. My service dog grooming bill is enough to make me want to cry. Good thing I have such loving canine friends to remind me that no matter the dollar amount, their worth is beyond measure :-) I have to agree on the heat.
