Great story! The way you write it makes me want to read more! I will bookmark this blog and watch for it!

My dog and I met up because someone left her at a small cemetery over Memorial Day weekend thinking someone would take her home. Someone did. Me. I tried to find her owners, thinking she must just be lost, after all, she had a new collar and a new-smelling flea dip. Apparently, she’d gotten lost while someone was traveling, or someone dumped her out. She is still adjusting to her new name, Lady, which I’ve learned is a misnomer, but she seems to love me in spite of my imperfections.

This is a lovely story! A wonderful idea for a book.
We have adopted 2 female dogs at about a year of age in the past. And also changed their names.
