Interesting. I haven't looked at my site in google chrome. My computer guru tells me allowing google access to your computer (eg: through the toolbar) can really slow it down. I just used a pre-made theme (freshy) and modified it a bit so I don't know what platforom it was developed on. I use IE8. Thanks for reading!

Is it just my computer or does your website look a lot different in google chrome? I have just installed google chrome and all the webpages like youtube and google look the same but your site looks a little different. It looks like the font is a bit smaller and its different type of font. I don't know for which web browser you have coded your site but I think it looks a bit nicer in internet explorer. It could be just my pc because I have asked my girfriend to check it on her laptop and it looks identical.

Bean -
That question is what we all ask ourselves. Any dog that is mistreated, trained wrong or not trained at all could be a problem around other dogs and people. If it's not pits who are the bad dog of the moment it's rotties or shepherds.... Pit bulls are dominant for the most part and need a strong hand. I am a big strong woman and if Dolly had been any bigger, and she's only 56 pounds, she would have been too much to handle when she first arrived. Always proceed with caution with any strange dog.

You have a wonderful way with words. You weave a lovely story. I am one of those people that have been emotionally scarred by a traumatic experience with a pit bull. It has been almost 30 years, I have met some nice ones but I still freeze when I first see a pit bull. I think more positive stories will slowly bring more positive associations with the breed.
My experience was with a a pitbull trained to protect a tow yard and then brought home to a small dog and small children that I was babysitting. I rescued the kids but the other dog was literally torn apart from limb to limb. Was it the breed's fault or was it the fault of how this dog was trained and then put in a situation with only a 12 year old baby sitter to safeguard?
